Make-up? No, thanks!

I’m amazed by the kilos of make-up that women use. Why? Men don’t use make-up. Why should we?

I find make-up so unsexy. OK, a bit of make-up shadowing your eyes from time to time, on special occasions, doesn’t bother I guess, but to hide completely under the make-up is ridiculous, don’t you think? I have girlfriends that are unable to get out of their houses without make-up. Why? Why are they hiding? What are they hiding? What are they ashamed of?

Using make-up all the time means in my opinion that you don’t consider yourself pretty without it. Why almost all the young girls wear tons of make-up today is a complete mystery to me. Don’t they know that they all are beautiful as they are, no matter how they are (tall, short, fat, thin)? Youth is just so enormously beautiful by itself. It doesn’t need to be covered by make-up.

I think that being natural (wrinkles & circles under the eyes included) is a 1,000 times more beautiful than being fake (and that goes for grey hair too).

I hope that my daughters Yael and Dalit (and also my son Itay) don’t go out looking like Joker in some years (unless they go to a Halloween party –or dress in Purim, like us in the photo below).

Make-up? No, thanks!
